Kia ora, haere mai, and welcome to the PUKEKO HUB Blog.
This blog has been designed so we can share your child’s learning with you, and your extended whānau. You will also find all up-to-date news and notices for your information. Lou, Matt, Kellie, Vic, Terry, and Jill.
I'm Lou and this is my forth year teaching at Marshland School. This year I am teaching Year 3, and I will be Acting Team Leader, while George Matheson is on maternity leave.
This is my third year teaching junior children, and I have a real love for this level of learning. I am particularly passionate about teaching maths, literacy, science and te reo Māori.
I have two children who attend Marshland School and are currently in Korimako and Toroa. I am originally from England, but have been living in beautiful New Zealand for 13 years now. Email: email@example.com
My name is Jill and I am a Teacher Aide within the Pukeko Hub.
I started as a parent volunteer for Marshland School thirteen years ago when the first of my two boys started school. During that time I discovered my love for working with children at this level. My boys are now well into their high school years but I have remained in the junior school where I have worked as a Teacher Aide for five years now.
For me it is a privilege (and a lot of fun) supporting the learning and wellbeing of your tamariki within our school and to be part of a team with such hard working and dedicated teachers.
